PARTY IN THE PEN
Party in the Pen was a huge success! Great food, great company and very well attended. David Shockey gave a talk on the importance of ultrasound data and understanding ultrasound results. Many “promo” folders were picked up. These were folders with WSLA’s logo on the front which had WSLA member promo materials inside. Many members took advantage of this opportunity to promote their breeding program.
Thank you to Muddy Creek Ranch and High Point Lowlines for sponsoring this event!
ANNOUNCING THE WINNER OF OUR STEER CONTEST!
Katarina Whitson of Salmon, ID is the winner of our Lowline Steer Essay Contest. Congratulations Katarina! We had 10 very worthy applicants which made for some stiff competition. Thank to you all of our applicants. Katarina will be keeping us posted on her progress with her new steer.
Thank you to Bill and Donna Boekel for picking up the steer in Montana and feeding and caring for him for several weeks!
MONTANA ADDED TO WSLA!
We are very excited to announce that Montana is now member of our region. Because of it’s close proximity to Idaho, several Montana members have been involved in WSLA events. Now they can be active members and participate on the BOD and have voting privileges. Previously Montana was part of the Mountain States Lowline Association but that association was not active and officially disbanded a few months ago. Welcome Montana ALR members!
